A phone call from my neighbour described two strange birds in her back garden. Adhering to the current social distancing requirements, I took my camera to see what they were and was very surprised to see a pair of Red-legged Partridges casually wandering around on the lawn - and in the centre of the village. a long way from their usual habitat. They stayed there for most of the morning.GP
