'When I checked the Dotterel yesterday afternoon, despite
spending quite a while looking, they were not in view. So I went back this
morning and there was a single Dotterel, which allowed me to walk within 20
yards of it, at which point I backed off - no point in getting any closer. This
bird is not one of the 4 yesterday. My guess is it is a tired new arrival. A
female I think, maybe 2CY.' DN
