'Last week's count of Caspian gulls at Milton represented a new county (maybe even UK) record of 9 at this site which is currently probably the best site in the country for this spp. Interestingly I was photographing the bird preening at the back and when I later went through the pics I realised another (my 5th of the day) had sneaked in to the foreground briefly, as can be seen in the top picture.'
