'Travelling back from Welney towards Pymoor late afternoon, I parked to watch a pair of Kestrels harrassing a hunting Barn Owl about 100 metres away.. Out of the car with camera in hand, I was surprised to see the Barn Owl fly straight towards me and land on the bank about 15ft away. The Kestrels then soon disappeared leaving the Barn Owl to fly over the bank to hunt on the washes. A deliberate ploy?' GP
