“The second
‘British Birds rarity’ within three days here! This one was rather frustrating
all round as after some initial scrutiny just a few photos were obtained, this
being the best, before the bird was inadvertently flushed by a third party. Sadly
despite much subsequent searching it could not be relocated, so remaining a
single observer sighting unless it returns later in the year. To my eyes
showing no sign of hybrid influence.' RP
