I finally got a reasonable view of this today (despite it being at
Grafham since October 12th) which allowed me to get some record shots, and
reconsider the sex of the bird. It's definitely a juvenile, and probably a
female after all.' MH

Carrion Crow

I watched these three gather next to this bush, previously noisy and then quiet. Odd for Crows. Then the adult walked out from behind the bush and all three jumped on it, gave it a mild going over before running off, cawing to each other. We know that Crows are intelligent but do they indulge in childish pranks? Certainly appeared so.
