Winter Grey Wagtails are notoriously difficult to age with all birds showing white throats. That said, this bird's all-dark bill base might point toward it being an adult. (JL).

This 1st Winter Sparrowhawk alighted in trees beside Garth shortly after missing its intended strike on a Collared Dove feeding at the near by bird table. (JL).
