Kestrel

Kestrel, Fowlmere RSPB, 13th April 017 © Mick Thoday
'My Wife and I went to do some birding at Fowlmere  Yesterday, and to our surprise we saw a pair of Kestrels frequenting the owl box where the Barn Owls normally nest, and there was a distinct screeching of what sounded like young coming from the box? We stayed for about an hour and they were coming back & forth quite frequently.' MT

That's a nice pic. Would you mind sending it to doug.radford@rspb.org.uk and I'll see if I can produce a poster for the viewpoint.

Been to this spot the last few weeks and saw the baby BARN OWLS peering out of the box.
