Iberian Chiffchaff

Presumed Iberian Chiffchaff, Castor Hanglands, 22 April 2012 © Stuart Elsom.
'The song, roughly transcribed as 'sweet sweet sweet sweet, chi-chi-chi-chi-chi' was followed on two occasions today by normal Chiffchaff song which I think is rather worrying and may be more indicative of a Chiffchaff, but probably a 'mixed singer'. The legs are also very dark and seem at odds with the available literature on this very recent species. No doubt more will come to light regarding the variation of the song in the coming days and sonogram analysis will hopefully assist in the eventual identification'. SME.

Oh dear... if this is the bird then it sure doesn't look like an Iberian Chiffchaff! Mixed singing Common or hybrid at best..
