It appears that Sparrowhawks are getting more adventurous and following the food source to the feeders in the towns and villages, if the current plethora of images of them with prey is any indication.

To the surprise of all those very lucky watchers, these 7 suddenly took flight at the approach of the Pallid Harrier - and they had not previously been reported.

A real Cambs rarity - the general consensus at the twitch this morning was that this is a 3CY bird.
